The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has begun operating a shuttle bus service between Islamabad and Murree. The move is intended to help the visitors that visit the hill station all year.
The shuttle service operates from Bhara Kahu to Lower Topa, according to the specifications. Every 90 minutes, a bus leaves the terminal. A one-way journey costs Rs. 100 per passenger.

Children under the age of 12 and people over the age of 65 can travel for free. Meanwhile, locals have praised the CDA for providing a cheap mode of transportation.
Chairman CDA Captain (r) Muhammad Usman Younis stated in this regard that the shuttle service also intends to minimize traffic on the Murree Expressway during high tourist seasons.

It is not the first time that a shuttle bus service between Murree and Islamabad has been established. Previously, in July 2022, the Punjab government initiated a similar scheme.
Last Eid-ul-Azha, the provincial government ran 15 buses between Islamabad and Murree. A year ago, tourists were charged Rs. 100 for a one-way ticket.
